family or friends?

everytime the word usrah came into my ears, all i can think of is a group of boring girls, with super huge tudung covering half of their body. i imagined them to be sitting together, discussing about how damaged others who are not 'like them'. talking about nothing, but religion-based. boooorrriiinnggggg!
it was until one day, i decided 2 follow a friend, for one usrah session. i was ready to be condemned. to be told how im not qualified 2 b among them. but instead, i was welcomed warmly. they greet me with a smile and before i left, they each gave me a hug. i learned that, usrah is NOT JUST A GROUP DISCUSSION, it's a FAMILY. these girls, with me in the circle, are not just mates or friends, they are my sisters. n no, we dont only discuss about religion, we shared about the things that bothered our mind. we helped each other out. i still remember that one tyme, i dont have enough money to eat (someone took my rm50 note), two girls from my usrah actually shared money and treat me dinner. they also offered more, but i was too embarrassed 2 accept. that's where i realised, if only everyone sees, the beauty of usrah family, im sure they will love it.
i guess, i've seen it and it's part of my duty now, to let others see it too. insyaAllah.
