a hike to remember

Last time, was Broga. this time around, we went to a much subtle one, Bukit Gasing Forest Park (which is only 10 mins from UM). i've been spying on this place through it's website for a couple of months now. Alhamdulillah i managed to get there, at last. honestly, it was TOUGHER than i expected. easier than Broga, but i wont say it was not tiring! from the pix on the webbie, seems like it does not need much effort to find the hanging bridge. but i was 200% WRONG! it was almost like an endless journey before we actually met the hanging bridge face-to-face. but it was fun though! the whole thing! it's like an URBAN FOREST, a forest in the middle of KL! mind-blowing! it's a perfect place for breeze-walk and also jogging. Ruhana n i cant help from running as we head down the hill. at one point, we were ignoring our brain completely. we just let our body moves by itself. and it was so CARE-FREE and peaceful. anyway, for more info of the place, the route and how to get there, go asks Mr. Google kay :)

as i was running, and walking between the trees, i cant help thinking how small i am. i mean, LOOK AROUND ME, Subhanallah. it kindda reminded me of a verse in the Quran,
وَأَلْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَاراً وَسُبُلاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ"Dan Ia mengadakan di bumi gunung-ganang yang menetapnya supaya ia tidak menghayun-hayunkan kamu; dan Ia mengadakan sungai-sungai serta jalan-jalan lalu lalang, supaya kamu dapat sampai ke MATLAMAT yang kamu tuju." -16:15
and i met super-awesome people along the way. we were kindda lost, but the people we bumped in along the way was COMPLETELY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. an auntie and an uncle actually cheered on us as we ran pass them.
