PEP-LUMP?

i cant remember when Peplum strted bcoming the 'IT' thing. and i guess, the fever hasnt subside yet. last Sat, when i attended my cousin's wedding, nearly half of the girls in the hall were wearing PEPLUM items. be it peplum blouse, peplum dress, or peplum kurung. and i must say, i surely agree with the fact that peplums are cute! but u know what's the turn-off? the design. peplum is cute because it helps to accentuate the sand-glass shape of the wearer. however, the shape of the girl, is also her aurat. thus, she has to cover it, not flaunt it to the world's eyes. that's the reason why i delayed in buying any peplum-designed attire. but then, i found this awesome online-shop which sell.... PLUS-SIZE peplum!!!!
so it kindda crossed my mind. if i buy BIG-SIZED peplum, insyaAllah it will b loose on me kan. so it wont take my curves. in other word, people wont be able to see the shape of my figure! AWEH-SOME!
and it's true! when the parcel came, i was nervous and super-excited at the same time. when i tried it on, Alhamdulillah, it was kindda big on me. but who cares right? as long as i know tht i now own a peplum, yet, it didnt accentuate my curves for the non-mahram to see. to me, good enough!

a friend of mine asked me, WHAT'S THE POINT OF BUYING A PEPLUM IF IT'S SO LOOSE THAT IT DOESNT EVEN LOOK LIKE A PEPLUM WHEN I WEAR IT?
to me, my satisfaction, is OWNING a PEPLUM and being able to wear it comfortably and confidently.
i dont care if to other people's eyes, it looked just like a normal blouse.
im here, to impress myself, and most importantly, to impress my Creator.
not to impress the Earth's temporary spectators.
Fashions and trends, are fun.as long as YOU are the one who MANIPULATES it.NOT the other way round.
