big big circle!
Friday, August 17, 2012,
i have heard so much about her. from the media and from mama.(she used to be in the same batch as mama in UKM) i was told on how wonderful and inspiring she is. but to me, seeing is believing. so, i've never take seriously anything they told me. to me, they were just exaggerating!
but then, last sunday, when kak yam (my sister from another parents) asked me to tag along to one of Dr. Harlina big circle, I KNEW I HAVE TO GO! i want 2 c her IN PERSON! i want 2 see, how true the words of others about her. and subhanallah, they were not even close! SHE WAS BETTER than what they have described her. she has this positive aura surrounding her. and when u stand near her, u can just feel the good vibes! and when u hugged her, she will kiss u on the cheek, SO SINCERELY, that u feel like u wanna stay in her arms FOREVER! and when she starts speaking, u felt as if u has done something as big as saving the earth. the acknowledgement she gave was humongous! so yes, SHE IS INSPIRING :)
during the big circle, she asked us to measure our taqwa for this Ramadhan. how much we have improved? or did we went worst then who we were before? how's our relationship with the Quran? then, she told us on how to tolerate differences and appreciate similarities. I love this title the most. sebab in delivering da'wah, it's a necessity to face different opinions and sometimes, the argument is just too ridiculous to be tolerated. but she reminded us, to look beyond the horizons. dont just listen to what u hear, but what's behind the words spoken. insyaAllah, this is something i should train myself. do u know there are 4 kinds of personalities? Sanguine (happy go lucky people), Choleric (a leader type), Melancholic (Perfectionist) and Phlegmatic (Calm and relax). so which one are you? each personality is special in its own way :)
the thing that opened my mind the most, is when she describe our life as a HIGHWAY. to reach our destiny, we have to pass through many kinds of things. straight roads, winding roads and tols! and she asked us to think, whether in the akhirat, we want to go through the 'TUNAI' lane, (which is always busy and crowded) or the 'SMART TAG', (which is fast and easy). and ayat dye yg plg best is that,
"YANG DAPAT LALU JLN SNG SMART TAG TU, SEBAB DYE DA BAYAR CASH SEBELUM TU. SAMA MCM KITE NK SNG MASOK SYURGA NNTI, KNALA PAY THE PRICE DEKAT DUNIA. SO, HOW MUCH WE HAVE PAID TO JAMIN OUR WAY TO JANNAH?"
Those words scare x lgsg makes me realise, xpela kalau kat dunia ni, susah sikit. xpe pakai baju longgar2, tutup aurat. xpe xde boyfriend mcm org laen, xpe xyah g club buat bnde pelik2. xpe! bcoz those are things yg will make u happy on earth, but what will they do to your akhirat? take sometime to think yeah :)
women in red :)

double syafiqah!
to be a good person, u need to mingles with good people!
Dr. Harlina in person :)
the best saying of the day,
Kita telah menang peperangan2 sebelum ini, kerana IMAN kita. itu yang membezakan antara kita dengan musuh2 kita -Saidina Umar Al-Khattab
all in all, i had a really wonderful time! too wonderful to be described with words. thank u to kak yam for informing me about the event, not to forget kak muna for being a good company. and of course, the biggest thanks and hugs to mama Mimie for driving us there, and for supporting me in all my da'wah activity regardless la usrah ke, konvensyen ke, majlis ilmu ke, or simply just anything!! i cant imagine having any other mother than u! u r the best mother a daughter can ever have!
